Huge variety of trinkets, food, necessities and supplies at Blochairn Market! Got a few bargains and definitely coming back at some point.
Huge parking lot so was pretty straightforward to get parked. If busy, you just have to walk a couple minutes from a bit further afield.
really large wholesale (+ pre-owned items) market place. you can get almost everything here... from coke to vegetables... from antique items to car accessories... EVERYTHING..
recommended to visit this place a little early so that you don't run out of options 😋✨
p.s. city council website says car boot sale takes place between 6AM - 3PM. but the security guard said it closes down at 1PM. so you must come here as early as you can.
Dropped in returning from Kippford. Bought lovely sausages from the farm shop. Takeaway next to the farm shop was excellent. Best Lorne sausage I've had. I travel to many places in Scotland and this is one of the best
Great market and car boot the only negative is that City Markets discriminate by only accepting card as a form of payment. This holds the market back and puts a lot of traders off. Equality should include forms of payment
If you like a rummage through some old/new stuff, the odd bit of bric a brac or a snapshot of Glasgow's Multi Cultural Society in full flow then this is worth a visit, Sunday Mornings early as you like till mid day usually, free parking...
A very vast selection of car boot stalls, bric o brak etc. new and used items for sale. Friendly atmosphere
